بات شبه مؤكد أن الملك محمد السادس اختار عبد الإله بنكيران، الأمين العام لحزب العدالة والتنمية، رئيسا للحكومة للمرة الثانية، بعد الإعلان عن استقباله، مساء اليوم الاثنين بالقصر الملكي بالدار البيضاء.
وبذلك يكون الملك قد وضع حدا لكل التخمينات التي اتجهت نحو إمكانية اختيار اسم آخر من حزب العدالة والتنمية الذي احتل الرتبة الأولى في انتخابات 7 أكتوبر، بحيث حرص الملك على احترام المنهجية الديمقراطية المتمثلة في تعيين الأمين العام للحزب المتصدر للانتخابات رغم أن الدستور لا يقيده بذلك.
